Is this dress suitable for prom?

I really love this dress but it looks really wedding-like (idk if that s a word) we have a school ball/formal coming up so basically like a prom but I think this dress is a little ott. The theme is enchanted garden btw but hardly anyone dresses up according to theme.

sorry dont know why the picture didnt send. I asked the question again and the photos on there. I would love to read all your opinions. Im so afraid the dress is over the top.

It looks like a bridesmaid's dress, not a prom dress. BUT, you should wear what you like.

Go to GAP and buy a turtleneck sweater. Buy yourself a formal pair of glasses. Get your hair straightened and cut down to around your neck area. Hold a book to your side to make you look more educated. Walk with a professional posture and a perfectly aligned spine. Men want a woman that is classy, that is smart.
