Will England be involved in world war 3 and should I sign up to fight?

Usually a WW involves most major nations so yes England would be involved. But if there is to be a WW3 it will be nothing like the last 2 world wars as there is more effective ways to bring a country to its knees without swinging a sword.

There's no harm in getting yourself super-fit and highly skilled in unarmed combat.

I wouldn't recommend signing up as military life is now highly politicised. Most professional soldiers are now trained and employed by elite forces contracted out to Corporations to protect overseas interests.
As for WW3, the UK no longer has the stomach or the will to do what's necessary to resist a full invasion and we are woefully unprepared.
