How can I bind without a binder?

I have a rather large chest, but I can't afford a binder atm and if I did, I still couldn't get one cause I still live with my parents and they don't approve of e being trans.
So I need an alternative.
I'm a DD36 cup.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OMG . You are female. Quit trying to pretend you're not.

First off, safety is your number one priority. I totally understand your need for a flat chest, but if you bind unsafely you can cause permanent damage and ruin your chances for top surgery later.

Do not use ace bandages - they are designed to wind tighter every time you move, so when you breathe they will get tighter each time and basically kill you.

Do not use tape.

Do not use doubled sports bras or sports bras that are too small. The thing about sports bras is that they're meant to press harder on your ribs than your boobs. So if you wear them tight enough to bind your boobs, they'll absolutely murder your ribs.

If you can possibly save up money for a binder, that would be your absolute best option. Don't use a cheap binder from Amazon; they can really, really, hurt you. Get one from GC2b or Underworks. You can order it around a holiday or one of your parents' birthdays so that they won't open it.

The only safe way I know to make a binder at home in out of spanx/tights. Google the instructions.

The fact is, no matter what you do it's going to be really hard to hide double d's. Hang in there, though. If you bind safely, as soon as you're 18 you can get rid of those suckers for good.

Good luck! <3

You're a woman for life, even if you harm and destroy your body, miss.

There was a time when women used to be proud of their big breasts. What a sad world we live in when women want them chopping off.

Unfortunately, there aren't any ways that I know of to bind safely without one. You get one around a birthday or a holiday or their anniversary and get it wrapped (if you can). DON'T get a cheap one. Buy one from a place that's made for selling binders. I'm sorry I couldn't help more. :(

Sports bra's and baggy shirts/hoodies.
It wont given you the same "flat chest" as a binder, but it will make your chest look smaller.

the truth is there isn't really any safe way without getting a proper binder. People might suggest alternate methods but they can destroy your ribs and/or lungs and ultimately it's not worth it. just keep your eye out for bras that do the job well, sports bras for example make it a lot less noticeable. Alternatively if you have a friend who you can trust, ask them to buy it for you and you give them the money in person

You can't really successfully flatten your chest if it's large. Being a ftm I've tried and just end up with one chest lump instead of two. And it's uncomfortable too. I don't like to wear anything tight around my chest, it adds to the dysphoria, although I'm different to a lot of trans guys in that I prefer comfort over my appearance.
Other than binders you can try and lose weight and or just wait until you can have surgery.
