回國時發現行李箱破裂。因為有保旅遊平安險,理賠已經下來。搭的是廉航,也跟航空公司要求賠償,它們回應,不應要求重覆賠償。是這樣嗎?

The answer is no.

Usually, in order for travel insurance to provide coverage, the insurance will require the insured to report the loss to the airline first.

Insurance will need the claim information in order to process the claim, regardless the airline provides compensation or not.
