Prioritise, whats more important to you? Would you look back at old pics like 'ah wish I had a beard!' or 'wish i didn't quit my job/get fired' (maybe that's a bit extreme tho lol) but YaSs if you need or want the job I'd say go no facial hair it's more long term than prom! But prom is often regarded as a pretty big thing, so maybe you could even ask your work to compromise?
