Can someone please explain why my parents are like this?

Ok so as i was growing up as a kid they never took me anywhere or did much for me only the basics. If they got extra money it towards the fuel bills now they retired so we had moved into my brother house they only one who told my bro that they would pay half of some of the bills well last few time i had pay I have a job my plan was to save up florida but i cant make it i have to pay own bills now thier bills plus toilet paper paper towels etc. They sit and complain about being broke but yet they had up to 3 campers 2 sold one still here there going a trip this summer when there extra money rolls in my mom never understood have a girls days out i have one best friend for 14 years but after i left we ended are friendship people end up leaving me without reason im sick of it. And my parents are scared of going to Florida they say 'you never see me there".
