Almost always these questions are answered the same way. You need a donor car, buying all the missing parts adds up to more than a whole car. If you score a broke down donor for cheap then maybe you could do the swap. Cost: what do you pay for labor per hour? Parts; new, used, or donor car?

You have to add another differential and quite a few other parts if it's front wheel drive you will most likely spend way more then the cars worth due to the engine in front wheel drive cars being put in sideways but it mainly depends on the vehicle I saw someone do it with a 93 s10 for around 5k
