what tattoo have/would you get to cover self harm scars on your wrist/forearm?

Personally I have an eye and some roots on my arms, and on my thighs I have some song lyrics... kiss me it'll heal, but it won't forget

well i am a past cutter and all of the tattoo places i want too said they won't even think about doing one on mine

I do have self harm scars, but I don't want a tattoo to cover them.
I don't really pay much attention to them anymore, they don't define me. they have faded a lot too over the years.
There are times where I will wear a few bracelets to cover them, but thats about it.

I'd talk to a tattoo artist who specializes in cover ups, they'd give you better advice than what you'd get here.

Your self harm scars don't define you - so why would one tattoo option be valid?

Think about what you'd want inked permanently onto your skin - what has meaning to you etc.
