Is it too soon to do the pregnancy test?

I feel like I'm going to start my period any minute and nothing. I'm 3 days late. I feel tired and have sore breasts.

If your period is late, you can test, but if it gives you a negative, it does not necessarily mean you're not pregnant, though a positive is a positive. The reason I say that is that you may have just ovulated a few days ago (you ovulated late) and you're pregnant but there is not enough pregnancy hormone built up for a positive just yet.

Test. If it's negative, wait a week and if you don't start a period, test again.
