i havent seen my family in 8 years?

im 27. when i was a teenager i was very disrespectful at home towards my mom and dad. it just got progressively worse over the years to the point where they kicked me out. ive felt really bad over the years and really want to get in contach with my family and make things better. does anyone have any suggestions on how to approach em?

start with a phone call.....................tell them that you are sorry, you have matured, and you would like to see them. Thats all you can do, the rest is up to them. ....good luck

best thing would be to write a letter so you can get all your thoughts down in order. give them a contact number for you and say you would like to meet up with them

I'd call them. Start off with a genuine apology, and say you want to mend the bond between you and start over. A parent's love is supposed to be unconditional. They may have kicked you out, but that doesn't mean they don't love you anymore.
