Best inexpensive amatuer camera for photography/scenery?

I want a camera thats around £150-200 which takes great scenery pics but is also good for general use. I am currently taking a photography class .

For general use a Sony Cybershot is good enough.

For serious learning of photography, you need a fully adjustable camera like the dSLR.
