Like when the guy keeps talking about all these girls who send him unsolicited naked pics and how girls ask him to have sex or showing a girl your with a text you got from a coworker saying "Netflix and chill?". This guy who is a good friend of mine, we recently started hooking up the last few months. It's not just about sex with us but today he was telling me about all these girls who he's not interested in but who appear to be obsessed with him and he tells me that they did all the above.
Im a little jealous not bc I'm insecure w myself but bc I'm not certain where this is going and I don't know if he's testing me and Cause we haven't established exclusivity so I know I don't have a right to be jealous but I don't get why he tells me these things. Can someone help?

He is telling you to take him off the market. He likes you, and wants to be exclusive with you. He is trying to make you jealous more so to test IF YOU GET jealous. He likes you and wants conformation that you like him. He also wants to impress you (and yes guys are dumb enough to use other girls wanting them as a way to impress a girl).
He is obviously gun shy about just being honest and asking you to be exclusive. It is a confidence and immaturity issue that causes this. I am in no way implying it's a negative thing, it simply shows life's experiences has not given him the ability to be confident, mature, and secure enough to just approach you and ask you to be his girl, one and only girl.
You can either just be the one to ask him, or just throw him enough signs to MAKE IT COMPLETELY OBVIOUS you want to be exclusive too. If he knows with %100 certainty that is what you want, he will have the confidence to approach you with it.

Egomaniac- I suspect. Certainly if he had any intentions of exclusivity with you he would NOT mention it.
