Do you have to be a fitness expert or pro to start a fitness studio?

I was talking a recruiter from a company I was interested in working with. The recruiter seemed to be very happy and excited to want to bring me on board. She asked me for a few things like proof of and some other materials she needed to show the other staff. I sent her all that she requested but haven t got any response. Should I wait longer than a week? Or should keep trying to contact them but without being annoying?
