Yes, with dumplings and barley. Great warm winter meal for us in Canada. Very filling and delicious.

MADE it.
BEST stew is when you start the day before making beef broth, which you turn the next day into beef bouillon as your stew base.

I have found the best beef cut to use is blade steak or a blade roast. It stews up much more tender than "stew beef" you buy. And it has a much-better flavor.

Yes, many times, but usually when it's cold outside. My mom and sister make beef stew inside a pressure cooker looking pot. It takes s long time for them to make it, but only minutes for us to eat it.

I love beef stew! I also love Sheperd's Pie, which my mom and sister make inside of the oven. They bring both over to my house, still.

I don't cook and I live alone. So I don't get "home cooked" meals very often. I usually order out or make rice in my rice cooker and put canned salmon in it with a salad or apple or something
