Ever had homemade beef stew?

Lots of times, and made in a slow cooker, too. Very easy and quick to prepare, and slow cooks all day, to be really tender, and tasty.

Slow cooker style here as well. Start with the onions and garlic on the bottom, so that flavor will flow up...add the meat (cut-up steak or crumbled hamburger) next, then diced potatoes and carrots. Pour a big can of crushed tomatoes over the top. Add salt/pepper, Worcester sauce, and some water. Cook for 6-8 hours
