I'm taking medication for ocd. Can I drink while taking them or will alchohol interfere with the meds?

Depends on what you're taking, but for the most part it's okay to drink while on these meds. Typical drugs used for OCD are the class of medications known as SSRIs, and while the literature recommends caution using alcohol, it's not contraindicated. It will not affect the intended action of the drug (i.e. it will not make your OCD symptoms come back or worsen). What alcohol DOES have the potential to do is increase the effects of the alcohol. You may become drunk more quickly, more tired, etc. You should make sure that you are drinking responsibly and definitely DO NOT get behind the wheel of a car, even if you've only had a couple drinks. Better safe than sorry.
