Why the **** are phones getting so big?
Honestly, they're basically ******* tablets now. They're not even going to be 'mobile' phones soon. I could hardly fit them in my pocket as they were, now there's no hope. I don't even think that my hand is big enough to comfortably hold he newest ones. I might as well carry my ******* desktop computer around.
Is this really what the world is coming to? Seriously, I just need a portable device for me, when I am not at home, to be able to keep in contact with people and play games on I get bored. It's not like I'm going to spend my entire life on it. I don't need it to be the size of a TV. I have a computer to use when I am at home; that's my non-portable device, which I spend my life on. All I ******* need is a portable device to use only occasionally.
I feel like they're going to end up the size of people. We're all going to be needing to push ******* shopping carts everywhere to hold our phones in. When I am out in public and seeing people on their phones, I have honestly mistaken phones for tablets more times than I can count. They're ******* scaring me. No one else seems to be phased at all about how much they're growing though. They're all just happily standing there, tapping the ******* flat-screen television in their hands.
Is this insanity ever going to end?

Palms are getting unsustainable.
Your opinion is noted, and filed in the round file. You don't like large screens... I do. You get what you want, and I'll get what I want, and everything will be just fine.
There are still plenty of small phones on the market, even flip phones if screens bother you that much. Getting all worked up over something so ridiculous.. you need help.
my phone is the same size, but then again, I don't try to keep up with the jonses either ! like you must do.....
I own an almost ancient Sony T-640 phone and a small Canon A-80 pocket digital camera, and that's about all I need.
The phone was built in 2004 and I had to replace the battery once, which was, as I bought a replacement from China, about 8 euros. The camera, I don't remember how much I paid for the camera, but it can't have been much, and it works on regular batteries: Two AA cells are good enough for about 200 pictures. And, YES, you can change the batteries on both my phone and my camera.
My phone doesn't have any internet connection, and my camera doesn't have a GPS receiver to geotag my photos, but I wouldn't want that anyway. The day I can't remember anymore where I took a picture, they can send me to a home for the elderly and treat my Alzheimer's.
Feel better now?
There is a simple solution for you, ONLY buy phone tat will fit in your pockets and hands. Does not matter if it's not the phone you would like to have, just make sure it fits your hands and pockets. Granted this may limit you to prepaid style phones or lower end smart phones, but since you need/want them to fit your hands and pockets, you will have to stop worrying about what others are buying and stick to YOUR particular wants and needs.
