Discuss how social life and interaction would be affected if the internet permanently disappeared today.?

It would take awhile but it would be great.
People could actually talk with one another.
In a way the world would be a safer, less violent place.
Making people believe rumors and organizing protests would be much harder.
Propaganda to fit monetary agendas would almost end.

Well it would be incalculable, it wouldn't just be social life it would be banking, finance, trade, cars, flights, tax, absolutely everything. The world would grind to a halt.
