Hi
I have no idea about anything to do with the hardware of computers. however, I would like to build a gaming PC so that I may be able to run games like league of legends and world of warcraft on top spec graphics
I have a budget of £!000
Could you recommend what hardware would you recommend ie graphics card,
oh and I have not bought a desktop case yet, Ill think about the case last so that I can make sure that all the components fit

Wait 2-3 weeks for the AMD Zen release and ask again. At this point, with the limited benchmarks available, it looks promising enough that any current CPU will be a ripoff by comparison. Here's a good starting point: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WFCwHN

AMD is supposed to be releasing a new CPU in the next couple months, which might be a good deal if you're willing to wait and see the results of that, though I suspect it won't be so great for older games that can't use more than 4 cores. At the very least it should bring Intel's prices down.
Otherwise I'd go for a 4 core Intel CPU with fast cores. Their 4th gen CPUs (1150 socket) are still quite capable at games, but Intel has been jacking up their price over the years.
The i5 6500 or 6600 (1151 socket) get you quite a bit of bang for the buck, which will last longer too because Intel is still making CPUs for the 1151 socket.
PC Part Picker makes it much easier to compare prices.
If you just want to play those games you can get a pretty cheap system that will run them, you'll just need to look up their recommended hardware requirements.

If you only want to play games like WoW and League of legends , you not need to spent that much.
