Maltese stole and ate one rib bone before I knew it. Is there anything I should do now?

Wow! Didn't realize there were ANY dog owners who don't know the basics - like dogs NEVER get cooked bones of any kind! Never! Raw bones only!

Never give a dog bones. They can splinter.

Only if they are raw. Never give a cooked bone to a dog, it can splinter & cause serious damage internally.

If you pressure cook the ribs before you grill them, the pressure cooker may have cooked them until they are very easy to break, those you can give to a dog.

no. Your dog is way to dumb to chew a bone. The dog will try to swallow a big chunk and choke. You will have to have little fingers to reach in and pull a bone out of its throat.

It can, but it shouldn't, no dog should regardless of breed, type or lack of breed.
