what to cook for dinner?
looking for something to cook tomorrow for dinner but i can't think of much. we've had a lot of chicken dishes lately and fish. as well as ground beef dishes like chili and taco's
i am thinking of making ribs but the store here doesn't sell them fresh and i don't know if they are beef or pork. any ideas or what else i could make. otherwise im just thinking of ordering chinese food but would rather cook.

what to "COOK" for Dinner ? "COOK" how about a SALAD no cooking Olives canned Beans Greens carrots tomatoes peppers onions cabbage chopped boiled eggs
even go Fruit nice fresh crusty bread , olive oil grated Cheeses a nice light wine ...Fruit for desert or a bakery Cake Coffee or Tea .....and you probably won't feel over stuffed and might sleep better , lots of Good Nutrients
and you throw it in a BIG BOWL no pots and pans to wash, and if you have LEFT over yo POP it in the FRIDGE ...and pick on it later
You need an "everyday" sort of thing - something which isn't very fancy but nutritious. Then on more special times you can do those fine dishes you mentioned.
Always good for an everyday sort of meal is steamed vegetables and rice - with fruit. Or stewed vegetables and salad with beans and rice - and fruit. Keep it low fat, high fiber, high nutrition. Think about the saying - "Salad is the Main Meal".
Then on the special days, hit them with the tacos and steak and stuff like that.
In America we're used to vast qualities of extremely tasty foods..... but there's a lot of us who are big, fat, sick slobs too.
fish or seafood like shrimp or crab cakes
chef or cobb salad
bacon quiche
breakfast for dinner - pancakes with sausage or bacon, or eggs with sausage, bacon and toast
I am baking some Salmon. Great choice for tonight or anytime, for that matter.
Can't decide if I want salmon loaf, or make catfish Hmm.
Salmon loaf is canned salmon, pick through it and remove the bones and skin. I thin some cream of mushroom soup for a sauce. It is really good.
the catfish gets rolled in half and half flour and corn meal, and I season with a bit of garlic, onion, and hot pepper flakes. I pan fry it. Served with tartar sauce, sliced onions and rye bread.

Tonight we had ;-
Tortellini stuffed with chicken & bacon,
Topped with tomato & mascarpone sauce,
Butternut & spinach croquettes on the side.
I am making a seared pork tenderloin over butternut squash and onions, in a Dutch oven. Try that.

my menu for tonight is sardines marinating in chilli oil, mashed carrots, celeriac and sweet potato with steamed leeks, capsicum and brussel sprouts.
