Are there emotionless people out there?

I was speaking to someone who claimed they have no emotions. They don't get into relationships because it would trigger him to be emotional and make decisions based on emotions. He likes helping others instead of helping himself and whenever I talked to him he would respond with that's correct or affirmative and he basically responded like a human robot. When I asked him if he's ever cried he said only if chemicals were in his eyes. I also asked if he's felt bad ever in his life and he says he tried to help people by doing what he feels is morally right but if he made someone feel bad he would accept it and try to fix it. The last thing I asked if he has a lot of friends or keeps to himself and he says he has friends who doesnt mind that he has no emotions but his mom who's more emotionally driven argues with him about it constantly? My question is are there really emotionless people out there or do they just hide their emotions or try to force themselves not t feel emotions?
