✔ 最佳答案
(8.4×10⁸)(4.2×10³) = (8.4×4.2)(10⁸×10³)
= (35.28)(10⁸⁺³)
= 35.28×10¹¹
= 3.528×10¹²

Multiply the digit terms - 8.4 x 4.2= 35.28
Add exponents - 8+3 = 12
Thats how you get your exponent terms
Scientific notation is a way to represent really large or really small numbers in a way that's a little more digestible for most people.
Your coefficient cant be greater than 9. thats the rule, so thats why its 3.528 and not 35.28. Difficulfty explaining this. sorry
