My cat is acting weird?

Cat's will form bonds with people over time. My cat did not like my Dad at all for the first year but as he was around him more and more he started to like him. There is many different reasons your cat could be doing this. It could be caused by a cats hormones or he or she could since something is different about him. Cats can since changes in someone before we can. For example my cat will notice me becoming uptight before I realize it and will calm me down. I hard to explain. I wouldn't be to worried though. Having "owned" cats for over 30 years I have learned that cats do what they do and there is no rational explanation. Perhaps the cat has decided to "adopt" your dad for some reason known only to the cat. I have had company in the house several times and sometimes my cat will jump up on one person's lap and completely ignore other people. Just accept the cat will do what the cat does; there is no way to understand what goes on in the feline mind. All you can do is guess.

If it is a female cat, then she is in heat and he is a male so you can kinda get the picture. If it is a boy cat, then the cat is just getting use to them and they've been bonding somehow
