Could someone show me the math for calculating this molarity chem problem please?
How many grams of NaCl would you need to make 100ml of a 4M solution? (Molar mass of NaCl used for this problem is 58.45)
回答 (1)
No. of moles of NaCl
= Molarity × Volume
= (4 mol/L) × (100/1000 L)
= 0.4 mol
Mass of NaCl
= (No. of mol) × (Molar mass)
= (0.4 mol) × (58.45 g/mol)
= 23.38 g
