salt and baking soda blend just like ranchers and other omnivores do when we run out of commercial tooth paste! Commercial tooth paste has not been tested on animals nor does it contain any animal products unless your dog bites the tube!

There are several organic natural toothpastes you can purchase online and some instore however most regular toothpastes are already vegan but some do test on animals where required (china).

vegan toothpaste..health food stores have it and its probably available on line. google vegan toothpaste for brand names and availability.

If you are going to go 100% vegie, you will have a hard time doing it. Even Jello is made with hog fat!

Almost all toothpaste are vegan in that they don't contain animal products. Some do contain glycerin but its almost always the vegetable based glycerin.
Most of the big companies do test on animals. Colgate -Palmolvie does.
but anyway many vegan groups have put together lists of cruelty free personal healthy and beauty products.
PETA has one. So does Leaping Bunny. And Cruelty Free Kitty.

Oh, by the way. I use Tom's mostly because its readily available in drug stores everywhere. I never though about changing my dental floss. but now i'm thinking about it.
