Do you believe in life after death?

The spirit is eternal. It cannot die. The physical dies. The spiritual doesnt.

Yes, according to the Bible. It is eternal life in heaven or eternal life in hell.

This is some of what Jesus said about Hell.....

Hell is a real place....

Mark 9:46
where ‘Their worm does not die,
And the fire is not quenched.’

Matthew 10:28
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Many will be sent to Hell...

Matthew 25:41
“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:

Matthew 13:49-50
49 So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, 50 and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”

Many will choose to go to Hell...

God made a way of escape through Jesus Christ who died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead so that we who believe may have eternal life.

Why did Jesus speak of death as a sleep?

Because a sleeping person is inactive. During deep sleep there is no consciousness of surroundings or the passing of time. There is no pain or suffering.

Similarly, in death there is no activity or activity or consciousness. But the comparison goes further with sleep.

With sleep, one expects to wake up. And that is exactly the hope that the Bible offers for the dead.

This would be the resurrection that Jesus spoke about.

All religions believe in life after death. They can be Hindu, Buddhism, Judaism, and so on.

Most of the world's population always has. Generally only atheists deny the idea.

Mankind of one sort or another is over 2.8 MILLION years old, modern man 250,000 years old. In all that time there is not a single tiny little piece of evidnce that eeven a single person from the trillions there haven been that has survived death in any form!
