外籍人被告 不上庭 離開香港，後果是什麼?

法院有個管轄權問題，她直接離開香港回國，我們法院就管轄不上，她自由了！

Thank you for replying. The court had orders for defendant to forfeit travel documents and pay bail of $2000hkd by 4pm.
謝謝你們的回答。法官要求 被告人付2000港元保金和交出旅遊證件。被告人付了$2000元但沒有交出旅遊證件，拿著護照離開香港出境了。

The defendant paid the bail money but left Hong Kong borders with passport before 4pm.

It is impossible to happen.

When a court orders the defendant not to leave Hong Kong, it indicates that either:

a. The court is currently holding the defendant's travel document; and/or,

b. The court has blacklisted the defendant from departure.

Any legal means of departure will automatically result in bail forfeiture (all money paid gone) and revocation (the defendant will be confined until the case is completed).

Even the defendant could depart in his/her own (illegal) means, it also means the defendant can't go to anywhere that Hong Kong has a extradition treaty with.
