So I REALLY want a septum piercing but here is the problem...?

I really want to get my septum done... but the only thing that is holding me back is what my boyfriend will think. Its hard because when we met i didnt have any tattoos or piercings so the fact that i am getting piercings and such weirds him out. He doesnt like tattoos or piercings whatsoever. I have one tattoo and several piercings on my ears. I really want to get my nose done and I would get a very small ring almost completely tight to the bottom of my nose. I was thinking as a compromise i could just take it out or flip it up when im around him and his family. What do you guys think?

Get it done. You get piercings for you and not anybody else. If he doesn't like them, thats his problem. The same goes for his family, if they don't like it that is on them not on you.

Don t worry about what he thinks, because if it is going to bother him so bad he doesn t want to be with you, then you know that he isn t meant to be with you. It is your decision and your body, plus a septum ring is great. You can flip it, you can take it out, there are no visible scars if you decide to take it out, and it s pretty easy to maintain. I say go for it and just try to tell him that you have really been looking into it and you have decided you want to do it. :)
