Anyone know what tool it takes to open this water valve cover on my front lawn?

YOU need a special "curb stop key" to open and close the cover. Your water department has these tools.
Normally, your municipality's water department will open/close it for you, at no charge, when needed.

Just asked the city for help was a weird magnetic thing. Thx for the help tho guys.

I open my water meter box with a screwdriver and turn the valve off and on with a crescent wrench. Nothing special about them.

And it is against the law to tamper with it. I found out the hard way. Only a slap on the wrist.
