Activated carbon vs charcoal??

I was watching a YouTube tutorial for a blackhead removing facemask that used activated charcoal. Will using activated carbon give the same affect/be safe to use???

Activated charcoal is the same as activated carbon. They are the different names of the same thing.

I believe it is simply charcoal, if the aquarium activated carbon is what you are refering to. Best to just buy a facial scrub that targets Blackheads.
