Called my therapist late at night!?

I have a bit of a thing for him, and things were going until i started acting weird in our last appointment, I then called him a couple days later on the weekend when I was a bit tipsy about 3 times at about midnight. And I dunno why tbh, I knew he wouldn't pick up cause it's his work phone. He then texted me today asking if I was okay, and then he said 'I got a call from you late at night?' And I just avoided the question. What do at out next appointment, I can't say it was an accident cause I called him like 3 times. Is this gonna look really weird to him?

As someone that has studied psychology and has numerous psychologists/therapists friends, I'll tell you this, what you experienced is known as transference. All therapists study and expect it to happen at least once in their practice career. He reacted appropriately and there is nothing to feel embarrassed about. He is probably genuinely concerned for your well-being. This is not going to look weird to him and he probably experiences it all the time. My therapist friends have reported clients texting them nudes, sexting them, writing them love letters, even showing up and knocking at their doors at midnight, so your behavior falls somewhere along that continuum, but is nothing to be embarrassed about as it is fairly common.

Just be honest and tell you drunk called him. Laugh it off.
