1 kg = 1000 g
1 cm³ = 1 mL

Volume of mercury
= Mass / Density
= (0.887 kg) / (13.56 g/cm³)
= (0.887 × 1000 g) / (13.56 g/mL)
= 65.4 mL
density = mass / volume

m = 0.887 kg = 887 grams
d = 13.56 g/cm^3

13.56 g/cm^3 = 887 g / x cm^3
x = 887 / 13.56

1 cm^3 = 1 ml

So all you have to do is divide 887 by 13.56 and you've got your answer
