Please help me on my taxes UK?

I started a new job this year, but If i calculate my salary since the new tax year started and calculate the maximum amount of wages i get from this year, it will be less then 11k, so I'm assuming at most I will only have to pay national insurance. Am i right? I do know that I will wrongfully pay tax this month, but is it possible to contact HMRC to claim it back and have it not happen for the next few months?

Thanks Tavy, but I am talking about the current tax year, from the old job AND new, my total wage would be under 11k when the current tax year ends. Meaning that they cannot tax me, but still cannot escape national insurance since im earning more then £155 a week now.

You are right, but I believe that the allowance will be £11.500 from April.
If you have paid any tax in your new job you will get a refund from your employer. they will have your tax coding which should be 1101L

Your tax code for 2016-2017 will be on your wage slip
it should be 110L if you are a basic rate tax payer
The tax allowance for 2016-2017 is £11,000
You can contact HMRC any time you like and ask any question about your own tax affairs
