:p i have to write an essay, i need some help, i know its like asking another person to do ur homework, but at least i didnt asked u to write ur own essay :p and can u tell me the difference between tener, ser and ir, thanks

You are not going to develop your skills in Spanish by having someone else translate your essay. What are you going to do on the test, when you can't ask other people? Your textbook explains those verbs. There are problems with the two verbs "to be" in Spanish, and you often have to learn them in the context of expressions, but the difference between tener (to have), ser (to be) and ir (to go) should be pretty clear. What might be confusing you is that you say "I have cold" in Spanish rather than "I am cold".

i suggest that "i have ..........................." is not a spanish construction at all......... the better construction is "there exist(s) ..........................." or "there are ..........................." with the verb chosen to reflect the relative permanence of the aspect being discussed.........
