To before I get the "your only young" bla bla, this is just an idea.
So I really enjoy studying physics in school and I'm sitting my national 5 physics exam in a couple of months so I'm preparing for it the now. But anyway I'm in 4th year in Scotland, Glasgow and I'm considering studying physics in university maybe as a scientist or teacher.
So I was chatting with my physics teacher and she told me about if I wanted to continue my love for physics I should consider doing physics in university's maybe try to get a doctor degree in the subject.
So can someone tell me the stages to obtain a doctors or PHD degree in university.
Also what could I do with a PHD in physics.
Education in Scotland is free including university.

Love your museum in Glasgow. Also there is that cool pub where there are bridges inside leading to various parts of the building.

You could go to U. of Edinburgh; it is excellent for physics.

As far as I know; the long trek to the PhD always begins with the BS or BSc. Then there is a Masters. Finally the PhD.

You do the Hons degree, then the PhD
Please do look at the job market for this degree and see if there are potential jobs, or not

The sky's the limit, you will have more offers than you'll have time to choose. Either as a chemist/doctor, professor, teacher or inventor& entrepteneur.
參考: PHD in mathematics, studied& continue to study physics& quantum physics over 10 years
