pH = 8.7
[H₃O⁺] = 10^(-pH) = 10^(-8.7) M = 2.0 × 10^(-9) M

2.
pH = 8.7
[H₃O⁺] = 10^(-pH) = 10^(-8.7) M = 2.0 × 10^(-9) M
[OH⁻] = Kw / [H₃O⁺] = [1.0 × 10^(-14)] / [2.0 × 10^(-9)] = 5.0 × 10^(-6) M

OR :
pH = 8.7
pOH = pKw - pH = 14.0 - 8.7 = 5.3
[OH⁻] = 10^(-pOH) = 10^(-5.3) = 5.0 × 10^(-6) M
