Can`t remember the movie`s name.?

It is an old movie, may be 1995 or something.All i remember about that movie is its plot.
So about the plot:
Guy (1) have really cute best friend, which is a girl, and he secretly loves her. After some time an ex-best friend of a guy (1) comes.Lets name him guy (2).So the guy(2) get laid with the girl, and the guy (1) is upset.He starts to do a thing in order to separate them.I remember he call the caps, about drugs in the house of guy(2), also he set up him alone in his place with a blonde girl, hoping he will cheat on that the girl, wich happened.
At the end of the movie, guy(1) shoots the guy (2), and the police think guy(2) was evil.
I know it isn't much but I'm sure a person who actually watched that movie will know it on a sigh.
