Which are manganese oxide and the manganese ion. are different species.

MnO ( Manganese(II)Oxide) is a green solid.
Mn^2+ is an ion found in solutions.

First of all, it is MnO no MNO, and it is Mn^2+, not MN^2+.
And NO, they are not the same.
