Because they think everything is racist. Once an nice old white man told me he thought I was beautiful and reminded him of his friends daughter and asked if I was Chinese too. Before I could answer some lady (dog), got kinda mad and told him it was racist to ask? I don't know if it was his granddaughter or not, but she seemed to know him based on the way she was acting. I'm not Chinese, but it was really sweet to be called beautiful and it made my day. I told the woman it was fine, but she kept acting like she was my savoir and I was ungrateful for not thanking her for "protecting me". I mean, yeah, there are some real, horrible racists out there, but there are also some liberals who harass everyone who doesn't agree with what they think is racist.

Most "racist beliefs" the left are griping about aren't racist beliefs. They're straw men. And everybody has a right to his thoughts, so long as he doesn't act on them in such a way as to encroach on the rights of another. No thinking person wants the thought police of dystopian novels.

There's a kind of time-line. The more someone knows about the world, the less racist that person is. However, this does not apply to someone who has Mental Heath problems/ illness, as in Hitler (Mano-Depressive) and David Duke (Schizophrenia)

they're obviously entitled to whatever beliefs they want

and yes, they are not entitled to immunity from criticism for pushing their baloney on others

Why do you think you have the right to determine what people are allowed to think?

1. People should be allowed to be racist so long as they don't physically harm another person or steal from them -- we don't have thought police.

2. Progressives call anyone who doesn't agree with them a racist -- that's what I object to.

People can think what they want.

What do you suggest?

What about all the blacks who hate white people----should we lock em up?

People have the right to hate even though it's wrong. Love thy neighbor, right?

Your question is not to learn anything, which is what questions are for. The only purpose of your "question" is to keep pumped-up images Conservatives (implied) you simply want to have. Matter-of-factly assuming they are simply racists doesn't require any mulling over or evaluation of the facts. Convenient, isn't it?

Your idea that no-one is entitled to think unless they either agree with you, or have permission from the government, is repulsive fascism.
2017-01-02 5:47 am
Because they're not very smart.

Funny how I never see liberals shaming and harassing non-whites for their racist beliefs. But I'll tell you something. You can't shame me, because there is no shame in speaking the truth. And if you harass me, I will prosecute you. That little trick works both ways, dear.
