What to do with infected ear peircing?

2 months ago, I pierced my ears at Claire's, but after 3 weeks at school, I put on a set of headphones and after I took it off, my ear was swollen and red. Now, it has not been red, but kind of swollen. What should I do? Should I use alcohol or the rapid ear solution?

Call the store where you got them pierced and they can tell you what to do. Or contact a piercing parlor and they can walk you through it also. I had a piercing that hurt for 2 years (never healed right) I ended up taking it out and let the hole close because it was too bothersome. That was an ear cartilage piercing though. But yea, best to call where you got it done and ask them.

Yea btw claires isn't a good place or any gun specialists. Only professional piercers who use needle are. Also salt soaks don't use the aftercare are stuff ( contains alcohol which is horrible)

You need to cleanse it with some antiseptic. Alcohol will work, it's a little harsh. I prefer Betadine. But some disinfectant and be quick about it. You may need to drain it. If you don't know how to, ask somebody. Even call the studio you got pierced at, they can tell you. Have plenty of antiseptic on hand if you need to drain it
