Should I bring in the new year with my new baby(6months) or should I go out ? How should I spend it ? Plz help?

I have a lot to celebrate and look forward to for the upcoming year, I want to be Around lots of love and also have fun. My boyfriends sister invited us to their family house for drinks and eats and I would love to go but we also have an infant at home, who my mom volunteered to babysit for us, so Should we hang out or Bring in the new Year with the baby ??!!!
