Sending postcard from U.K. to USA?

Hi guys, I am looking to send a postcard from the UK to the USA. I ve tried googling but have gotten many different answers on what stamps i need, how many I need, where to get them etc. I ve tried going into the shops that sell stamps but they have no clue. I d just like to know what to ask for once I go to an actual post office. Please help!

Just like in the US, the UK considers a postcard sent internationally to be the same as a letter - there is no 'postcard' rate. Price is going to depend on the weight. If it exceeds 10 grams, it will cost £1.33. If it exceeds 20 grams, £2.25.

You need to ask at your local post office. There is usally different stamps to use for international mail

You simply ask 'I need to send this to the USA, how much will it cost me, please?' Easy.

Just GO to the local post office! Let them know where the postcard is going, they should have several different stamps to choose from.
