GPS useless?
I went to see my GP today about something I found concerning and she couldn't have look more uninterested in what I had to say from the moment I walked into the room.
It really puts me off going to the doctors at all. I feel like they don't bother looking into to anything, they just look for excuses to get me out the office.
I told my GP that I had a bit of an incident yesterday at an interview. Part way through my vision went really blurry, my hearing went funny, my throat was really dry and I went really pale. I went to the bathroom and I couldn't stand up I had to sit on the ground and each time, two attempts, I stood up these problem reoccurred.
I've this happen before but it's usually triggered by something e.g. taking blood, banging myself etc. But this time it just happened out of the blue for no reason?
She basically said it was nothing to be concerned about, your body just going into shock sometimes.
I feel like she didn't really address the issue, she couldn't be bothered to look into a little more. Like I was wasting her time. It's really off putting.

You had a classic panic attack caused by nerves. What did you expect her to do about it? surely you don't want pills.
You need to learn deep breathing techniques when you are in a stressful situation.
You are entitled to a second opinion if you are unhappy.
Tavy is 100% correct.
Seriously, what did you want her to do? Hold your hand for the rest of your life?
you had a panic attack,, been there learned how to control them,
Chances are she's getting payed per visitation not per hour/minute or whatever, so she wants to get you out as soon as possible as to get to the next customer and make some more money. Unfortunately this is basically how the majority of doctors act, which means they don't really go into detailed check ups unless there's a chance to make more money (like running additional tests and charging you for them). It's due to this that most people with any kind of health issue will only ever get the proper treatment, or close to it when they actually have a life threatening incident and have to be rushed to the hospital.
I've been to the doctor about 5 different times in the past few months for chest pains that are obviously heart related yet they simply check my pulse then say its nothing to be worried about right before charging me about $150 for nothing.
