Sure...
but I'd have to go back nearly a century to find even a few.

P.S. I correct my answer. I should have considered the recent school/church shootings that were anti-Christian related. Those could certainly be accurately described as persecution of Christians by the whackadoodles who engaged in such behavior. But that's persecution by mentally-deranged individuals, not by mob or by a community or by law or by society at large, etc.

You have found them at a loss I see.
They aren't persecuted, but they NEED to FEEL persecuted, hence all this whining they are doing.
It is taken as a slight to make them go by the same rules they think they are exempt from.
Pretending god is supposed to make them feel superior, and it seems to do that. Just another false thing in a hugely false religion.

Yes -- i think when kids leave BuyBull-Home-Schooling and later, fail miserably in college, I think colleges are just unfair to them. It's persecution.

They should have lower standards for them, it just isn't fair!!

------------------------UPDATE:

I'll answer Orchid-Moron's post:

On our fight against abortion.
--Abortion is a legal medical procedure> If you don' want one FOR YOURSELF, you don't have to have one. But, mind your own goddam business when it comes to the legal medical decisions of other people.

On our fight to keep prayer in schools.
-- Go fuc* yourself. You can pray anytime you want to, anywhere you want to. You just can't force organized prayer onto everyone in a setting, like school, where all kids are required to attend by law.

On our fight against death penalty.
--LOL! It's your own religious conservative groups that are fighting FOR the death penalty!! LOL!!

On our fight to allow professional athletes to point to the sky and thank God for the play.
--Very logical. You morons think god helped make a touchdown, but he allows millions of kids to starve to death. GREAT! I grant you and pro athletes the right to be GODDAM IDIOTS!

On our fight to have religion to be taught in schools.
--Is your cult so GODDAM LAME that a full day a week given to brainwashing children in churches isn't enough? WTF is wrong with you!! You're not working hard enough, so the public schools have to help you?? FAIL!

On our fight on keeping the ten commandments or statue of Moses in our courthouses.
--We don't follow those laws. FAIL AGAIN!

On our fight to keep "in God we Trust" on our money.
-- yeah, cheapen your god by putting his name on human currency. you people don't even realize how tacky and disrespectful that is!! Another FAIL!

On our fight to keep Christ in Christmas and allowing Merry Christmas to be said in stores and by anyone that is Christian.
1) it's a pagan holiday.
2) According to BuyBull scholars, christ was born in September! It's not even his birthday! FRAUD!

To let public buildings be allowed to have a Nativity scene up during Christmas time.
GFY again! Church and state - it's the law. You have churches on EVERY GODDAM CORNER of EVERY GODDAM CITY! Use your own goddam lawn and your own goddam tax-free electricity!

To practice our faith while at work,
--NO! No workplace is for worship. You are paid to do a job! Wait til you get home and hand-mumble to your gods then! Employers don't need to pay you to mumble to imaginary creatures and fart toward the sky!

like the clerk of courts not issuing marriage licenses to gay couples.
--No! It's their job to serve EVERY LEGAL CITIZEN of this country! If they can't do that, then they go do something else!

You are an EPIC FAIL, lady!

Kim Davis. That brave, persecuted woman.

(runs away and waits for the fun to start)

In early days, Puritans harshly punished celebration of Christmas.

Much later, Catholics were condemned and discriminated against.

But lately? No. No one can.

Being wished happy holidays isn't being persecuted.

Kim Davis did not get to force her fantasy onto everyone, THAT is fundie persecution.

Jehovah's witnesses were tarred & feathered, beat up and most were almost killed & a number of them were killed for not saluting the American flag, or for other reasons!

One brother was hung, but the rope broke and he still has the rope burn on his neck last time I saw him...

How much more could that dish out?

It's much better now, though.

"Praise Jah, you people!"

Loosing their business due to people taking them to court because they choose to service only those they wish. The founders would never have allowed that, and this is the actions of tyranny, not republicanism.
2016-12-23 5:06 am
No,I can't.

MAYBE IF I WANTED TO WHICH I DONT.

You mean besides the mild unimportant hassling of asshat atheists...no

I have had people say ugly things to me, told lies about me and my religion. But, that's expected. True persecution, I know nothing about. There are JW's in other countries, some have been in prison for 20 years for what they believe. In Russia, Korea, other countries, things are really bad. I pray for them regularly. For me, no, I've seen no persecution.
2016-12-24 12:06 am
You will hear that Christians being persecuted but you won't hear those innocent children being persecuted by the churches paedophilia. What a shame?
2016-12-23 11:18 pm
Yes, but that all depends on your definition of persecution. People despise the fact that I'm a Christian and will do whatever they believe it takes to keep me from worshiping as I see fit. Others couldn't care less about what i believe and go about their business. That said, they can do as they wish. It has no bearing on my worship of God and Jesus Christ. I'm not a doormat for anyone. You can infer from that whatever you wish.

Most of what you see is American Christians taking on a subtle form of persecution from the media, from liberal sources in media attacks, About 15 years ago, we went as part of a evangelistic group to an outdoor Secular Rock concert at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas called the Texas Jam. I didn't think we were obnoxious we were just using what I call conversational evangelism, and I personally got hit by some what I call "hateful people". I was prepared. Then when my wife and I lived in Amarillo, Texas I picked up a hitch hiker off of I-40 and I was sharing Jesus with this guy(who was intoxicated) and he stabbed me in the chest, fortunately it hit my ribs and did not cause a pnemothorax, I lost a lot of blood, I think it was more of a spiritual/demonic fight on that one as opposed to hateful persecution. So the ANSWER is YES it happens but not to the same degree in some Middle Eastern countries or countries that resent Christians.

donald trump ... just look at the HATE against him.
a landslide victory shows MOST americans ie. christians back him.
which means only a FEW are against trump ... yet their voices are LOUD.
God will shut them up ... cuz God is behind trump.
who can stand against trump , huh?

I know they're countries in the world where people are killed for expressing their faith in Christ.

For some reason, this gets ignored...
