First evaluate t(2)

2(2)^2+1 =9

Now using that value, evaluate the "s" function

-9-2= -11

t (2) = 9
s (9) = - 9 - 2 = - 11

s(t(x)) = -(2x^2 + 1) - 2
s(t(x)) = -2x^2 - 1 - 2
s(t(x)) = -2x^2 - 3
s(t(2)) = -2(2)^2 - 3 => -8 - 3 = -11
s(t(2)) = -11

For every x in s(x) plug in the t(x) function. So we get -(2x^2+1)-2 Plug in 2 into the equation and the answer is -11

s(t(2)) = s(2*2^2 + 1)

= s(9)

= - 9 - 2

= - 11
