Why do people like calling my name ?

Everywhere I go into a big party or convocation, shortly after people know my name very quickly and all I hear is they are calling my name most of time. I hardly can hear others peoples names being called out that many times. Is this a good sign. Why everythings I do get noticed?

Well, what is your name? "John" or "Jim"? Probably because those are common names. Don't be so biggety.
