How can a lot of foreigners sing songs in perfect English but they cannot speak any English?

I sing in a chorus. We sing in lots of languages we don't speak. It's useful to speak the language you're singing but not necessary, there's a long tradition of singers singing in languages they don't know. Actors too often learn to say lines in films and plays without knowing the language they're speaking.

They learn the sounds. Just as English-speaking opera singers often have to sing in Italian, or German, or Russian, or French, etc. And German and French opera singers often have to sing in Italian, etc, etc.

It is a big racket with foreigners to pretend they cannot speak English they get something out of that. I've had experience with this and them pulling this stunt since the beginning of there mass arrival here, do not fall for this its a trick that they like to pull, they speak English well, they have too its necessary for there survival here.
