My understanding of them is that Lucifer was just as his name implies. The light bringer. The bringer of wisdom. Sacrifices were God's thing. These guys would be thankful for the wisdom that sacrificing animals is too sick and pointless of a practice to engage in.
In the 80s, there were fears that Satanists were engaging in human sacrifice, but, no. They weren't. And Lusiferianism and Satanism aren't the same thing anyway. One views him as angelic while the other plays on his role as an enemy of God.
