I am 18 (living in the US where the legal drinking age is 21) and im am visiting Cancun where the legal drinking age is 18. If i was to buy alcohol in Cancun, would i be able to travel back to the US with it in my suitcase?

No, you have to take your checked bag through customs with you and you have to declare all alcohol that you bring into the country. They'd see that you aren't old enough to possess alcohol and it would be confiscated at that point.

Not legally. If you declare it on your custom's form, it will be confiscated. If you don't declare it and it is detected in a secondary customs check, then it will still be confiscated and you face a whole additional level of problem for lying on an official US government form.

No. I don't even know how you would get it on the plane because it's a liquid.

YES you can travel Back to the USA with it. At Customs you give it to the Customs Officer and then leave the Airport.
Trying to hide it can result in a fine . It is smuggling.

Package it well. Bottles do break.

Doesn't matter what age you are, you can't bring any type of liquid on a plane. Even if you try and "smuggle" it they will find out somehow.

You can not legally do that. If caught it will be confiscated at the very least.
